From Marrakech to Fes, a professional driver may take you on a tour of the Sahara desert every day. We will pick you up from your hotel in Marrakech this morning and take you to Ouarzazate via the Tizi n' Tichka pass, which is 2260 meters above sea level in the High Atlas Mountains. The scenery and charm of Berber settlements will impress you. We'll head for Merzouga, where your camel will be waiting for you, after stopping for lunch along the road. You'll be greeted with a glass of mint tea before embarking on a camel ride into the Erg-mystical Chebbi's sand sea, led by an experienced camel guide, of course. After an hour, you will arrive to Morocco's highest sand dunes to witness one of the most beautiful sunsets of your life. Dinner, a drum party, and an overnight stay in the desert await you at our nomadic berber tents. (If you wish to go sandboring, you can use the camp's sandbaords for free.)

Your camel guide will wake you up to enjoy the sunrise, after which you will leisurely camel-trek back to Merzouga, savoring the unique beauty of the stunning Erg Chebbi dunes, which change with the light throughout the day. Arriving back in Merzouga and after breakfast and hot shower in the guesthouse, we’ll leave to Fes via Errachidia along the magnificent Ziz Gorges carved through volcanic rock, and through the Tizi Ntalghamt pass to Midelt, stopping in Zaida to enjoy a barbecue and refresh with a glass of mint tea before continuing to Azrou, a Berber village in the Middle Atlas Mountains, where we’ll stop to see the Barbarian apes in the cedar forest. Then we'll head to Ifrane, sometimes known as Morocco's Switzerland or the French village, where we'll stop for a photo or a drink before continuing on to your hotel in Fes, where the tour will end.
