Today we will meet you at your accommodation in Fes in the early morning and start travelling south to Merzouga desert via Midelt and Errachidia. Your first stop will be at Ifrane city, referred to as "the Switzerland of Morocco", and then to Merzouga via Midlet and the Ziz Valley. During this journey you’ll experience glimpses of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains. Stopping at the famous cedar forest - the largest one in Morocco - where you will have the opportunity to see the Barbarian apes. You’ll notice how the scenery changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the Er Rachidia city. After lunch in Midelt, your journey continues along the spectacular Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic views along the way. We will drive through Berber villages to Erfoud, then to Rissani ; the foundation of the Alaouite dynasty - the current ruling royal family in Morocco. Arriving in Merzouga at the end of the day, you’ll be welcomed with a glass of mint tea and ride your camel to see the sunset in the middle of the highest sand dunes in morocco and spend the night there. Overnight at our desert camp where you will have your dinner.( Sand boards are available at the camp, you can use them for free if you like to do sandboarding).

We will get up early to see the spectacular sunrise over the dunes of the Sahara before making our way back by camels to our guest house for breakfast and shower. Later We'll drive through the Saghro mountains then through the Dades Valley towards Kalaa M'gouna and Ouarzazate. The route through Dades Valley is the way of the thousand kasbahs - providing numerous opportunities to take some of your best photographic shots of the trip .we will stop  for lunch in the way,  we will cross high atlas mountains full of panoramic views and attractive Berber villages all along the way till Marrakech  where the tour ends.
