You will be given a guided tour of the site and will learn a lot about the Roman Empire while doing so. After that, we head to Meknes, Morocco's Ismaili capital. In Meknes, we witness the Sultan My Ismail's intriguing gate Bab Mansour, as well as the granary and the Sahrij Souani, which are utilized for irrigation and cultivation. The Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail is also included in your tour. We next proceed to Fes via the motorway. At the medina, spend the night in a posh riad.

DAY 4: EXPLORING FES:

We'll take you beyond the Medina after lunch to see the Royal Palace entrance, walk through the Jewish quarter "the Mellah," and then visit a pottery cooperative. In the afternoon, we'll take you to one of the fortresses for a breathtaking panoramic view of Fes' entire Medina. The same riad will be your home for the night (BB).

DAY 5: FES - IFRANE - AZROU - MIDELT - ERFOUD - MERZOUGA:

We'll leave after breakfast and head south through Midelt and Errachidia to the Merzouga desert. Your first stop will be in Ifrane, dubbed "Morocco's Switzerland," before continuing on to Merzouga through Midelt and the Ziz Valley. You'll get sights of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains during this excursion. Stopping in the world-famous cedar woodland, Morocco's largest. The Barbarian apes will be on display for you to witness. As you approach Errachidia, you'll note how the environment transforms to offer indications of the desert. You'll leave for Tinghir and Todgha gorges after breakfast and a hot shower in a traditional guesthouse. It's one of Morocco's tallest and narrowest gorges. You'll be able to hike along the valley's length here. We'll travel through the Dades Valley, where you'll see magnificent sand castles and the incredible "monkey toes" rock formations. We'll make a pit stop in Kalaat M'Gouna, or "rose city," to buy rosewater, which will keep your linen smelling fresh long after your trip is over. Proceed to Ouarzazate, known as "Africa's Hollywood." Lunch will be served at Morocco's largest Kasbah, Ait Benhaddou. It is listed as a world heritage site by UNESCO.
