FIRST DAY: TANGER - CHEFCHAOUEN - FES:

We will meet you at the port or airport on the first day of your vacation and drive through the Rif highlands, passing through Tetoun city and enjoying the views of the gorgeous mountains until we arrive in Chefchaouen, one of the stunning communities at the foot of the Rif mountains. The medina of Chefchaouen featured a Spanish-style square surrounded by many eccentric arts and crafts boutiques, roof-top restaurants and cafes where you will have lunch before continuing on to Fes where we will spend the night in a traditional Moroccan riad.

DAY 2: FES-IFRANE-ERFOUD-RISSANI-MERZOUGA-TREKKING:

After breakfast, we will pick you up and proceed south via the Middle Atlas highlands to Ifrane and Azrou. We will stop along the journey to visit the Barbarian Apes in their native environment. As you reach Errachidia, you'll witness views of the Middle-Atlas plateau and the environment altering to give clues of the desert as you travel via the Tizi Ntalghamt pass to Midelt and down the beautiful Ziz Gorges cut by volcanic rock. After lunch, we'll travel via the Ziz Valley to Erfoud, Rissani, and Merzouga. After a glass of mint tea, we'll leave our stuff in a safe room and ride camels to a Berber tent in the center of the Erg Chebbi Sad Dunes, North Africa's highest sand dunes. The camel trek to the camp, where we will put up Berber tents for our night in the desert, takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Mattresses, blankets, and cushions are provided in the tents. We'll gather around the fire after dinner to listen to traditional Berber drums under the sky.

DAY 3: MERZOUGA-TODGHA-VALLEY:

We'll get up early to watch the dawn over the dunes before taking a camel ride back to the hotel. After freshening up and brunch, we'll head to Tinghir and the Todgha Gorges before arriving in the Dades Valley for supper and the night.

DAY 4: DADES VALLEY - SKOURA - OUARZAZATE- AIT BENHADDOU- MARRAKECH:

Following breakfast, we will travel via the Dades Valley to Kalaat M'Gouna and Ouarzazate. The Dades Valley road, known as the Way of a Thousand Kasbahs, offers numerous photo opportunities. We'll stop in Roses Valley and Skoura Village before heading to Ouarzazat, known as "Africa's Hollywood." Lunch will be served at the famed Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, Morocco's largest. After visiting this UNESCO World Heritage site, we will continue our drive over the High Atlas Mountains via the spectacular Tizi nTichka pass, which reaches an altitude of 2260 m. We'll take a break to admire the scenery and visit the Argan oil cooperative. We'll arrive in Marrakech late in the afternoon.
